Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026
Ryvan Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Ryvan", "we", "us") operates www.ryvanai.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to meet our obligations under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR.
What we collect
We collect only what you actively give us, plus anonymous usage statistics.
- Enquiry form. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, an optional company name, and the content of your message.
- Direct contact. If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we hold whatever you choose to send us.
- Anonymous analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and does not collect or store any personal data or cross-site identifiers. It records aggregate page views, referrer and approximate country. We cannot identify you from it.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party ad networks, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Because we set no non-essential cookies, this site does not need a cookie consent banner.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement. Under the DPDP Act this is processing for the specified purpose you consented to when submitting the form; under GDPR the basis is your consent and/or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
- To understand site usage in aggregate, so we can improve the site. This is our legitimate interest, and involves no personal data.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Who processes it
We keep the number of third parties deliberately small. Each of the following acts as a processor on our behalf:
- Formspree delivers the contact form submission to our inbox. Data is processed on servers in the United States.
- Plausible Analytics provides anonymous, cookieless usage statistics, hosted in the European Union.
- Hostinger provides website hosting, including standard server access logs.
- Google Workspace is our email, where enquiries are received and stored.
Where these transfers involve moving data outside India or the EEA, they are made on the basis of the provider's standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months from our last exchange with you, so that we can pick up a conversation you may return to. After that it is deleted. If an enquiry becomes a signed engagement, the relevant records are retained for the life of the contract and for as long as tax and company law require afterwards. Anonymous analytics are aggregate and retained indefinitely, as they cannot be linked to an individual.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS enforced. Access to enquiry data is limited to the Ryvan staff who need it in order to respond to you, and is protected by multi-factor authentication. We apply the same security engineering practices to our own systems that we sell to clients, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act (and GDPR, where it applies to you) you may ask us to:
- confirm what personal data of yours we hold, and get a copy of it;
- correct or complete anything inaccurate;
- erase your data where we no longer need it;
- withdraw your consent at any time, which is as easy to do as it was to give;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf, in the event of your death or incapacity;
- raise a grievance about how we have handled your data.
To exercise any of these, email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or in the EU/UK to your local supervisory authority.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the "last updated" date above. Material changes affecting how we use data you have already given us will be communicated to you directly where we hold your contact details.
